The Cloud Trail

Melbourne is lucky to be located on the famous Cloud Trail, which passes less than a mile from Melbourne Hall.

Part of the national cycle network, the trail follows an old railway line, so you'll know you don't need to worry about too many hills. It's suitable for even the most reluctant cyclist.

If you head south, the trail takes you as far as Worthington in North West Leicestershire, and to the north you'll head through beautiful countryside and across the river Trent as far as Derby.

It's a fantastic way to explore Melbourne's surroundings in South Derbyshire.
